NOTE: This tutorial is designed for windows users. This method should work for PSP nine and ten also but since I have neither I cannot be sure.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Create a folder you can easily locate. You may want to take in consideration the above two locations we'll be working with to help you decide what would be easiest for you. Otherwise the root drive of C:\ is fine. What you name it is of no concequence so long as you can relocate it later on.
2. Open whatever you prefer as a file manager providing you use something besides the built in one. Otherwise begin by right clicking START and selecting EXPLORE and then navigate to the above mentioned BRUSH folders. Click, not double click, to select the first file in the folder. Then depress and hold the SHIFT button on your keyboard and scroll down to the last file click it once. Alternatively you can choose the EDIT tableau and choose the SELECT ALL option. Move all of these to the temporary folder you created. Your folder should be empty now. If not, navigate to the temporary folder and make certain the files were at least copied there. If so, return to the previous brush folder and delete all it's contents by repeating the selection method you previously used and depressing the DELETE key on your keyboard. Repeat the process for the other PSP BRUSH directory.
3. Now comes the fun part! Open PSP8 and select your tableau FILES>IMPORT>CUSTOM BRUSHES and click the open button navigating to your temporary folder where you stored all of the brushes. Select them all with the shift key method and click OK.
4. Previews for all of the brushes will now load in the left pane of this menu. This may take a little time.
5. Select ADD ALL or you may alternatively highlight only certain brushes and install only those you have selected with the ADD button. Then click OK and PSP will begin loading them. Once compleated the brushes will be available for use.
To install new brushes unzip the ones you are adding to a temporary folder and simply repeat steps three through five. It is important to keep your brush installation folder empty to avoid conflicts.
